Legacy Village of Cleveland Sponsors Two Local High Schools Through the Chamber of Commerce's "Best Partners" Program
September 17, 2024

Cleveland, Tenn. (August 2024) — Legacy Village of Cleveland is starting their second year of participating in the Chamber of Commerce’s Business & Education Serving Together (BEST) Partner Program.

Legacy Village began their BEST Partnership with Cleveland High School during the ’23 – ‘24 school year. Having enjoyed it so much, Legacy Village is also partnering with Walker Valley High School this year.

The goal of the program is to strengthen the quality of the educational system, foster better understanding between businesses and local schools and to expand learning opportunities for everyone involved in the partnership. For Legacy Village it means that they will provide the Teacher/Student of the Month gifts and Teacher Appreciation breakfasts. They will also make available various internship opportunities and jobs for students. In return, residents will be invited to school plays, sporting events and show choir performances.

“We love our community partnerships and serving schools is one of our very favorites! Students bring such joy to our lives and our residents love being with them!” said Destiny Helms, Executive Director of Legacy Village of Cleveland.

“We look forward to providing tangible needs to our two partner schools and providing career growth opportunities, but we are super excited about our school visits! This will be a highlight to our residents.”
